Insurances Accepted at Deidre LPC, LLC

We currently accept the following insurance plans for outpatient mental health counseling services:

Highmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield
Aetna
Optum
Quest Behavioral Health

1. How do I verify my insurance coverage for therapy?

To check your benefits for outpatient mental health services, call the customer service number of the back of your insurance card and ask

    • Is Deidre LPC, LLC (NPI number 1487485918) in-network with my plan?
    • Do I have coverage for outpatient mental health counseling?
    • What is my copay or coinsurance per session?
    • Do I have a deductible, and how much of it has been met?
    • Are there any session limits or authorization requirements?

2. What if my insurance doesn’t cover therapy at Deidre LPC, LLC?

If your insurance is not accepted, you may:

    • Use out-of-network benefits (if applicable)
    • Pay out-of-pocket  at our self-pay rate
    • Use an HSA/FSA to cover therapy costs

3. Do you bill insurance directly?

Yes! If you have an in-network plan, we will submit claims directly to your insurance provider. If you are using out-of-network benefits, we can provide a Superbill for reimbursement.

4. What if my insurance requires pre-authorization?

Some plans require prior authorization for therapy. Please check with your insurance provider before scheduling your first session. If needed, we can assist with obtaining authorization.

5. What if my Insurance Coverage Changes?

If your insurance plan changes, please notify us as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted coverage. Clients are responsible for any fees not covered by their plan.

Private Pay Rates:

For Private Pay Clients (not covered through insurance), the standard fee for the initial intake is $150 and each subsequent session is $130.

Cancellation Fees:

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide 24 Hours advance notice. If you miss a session without canceling or communicating (i.e. no showing your appointment), the charge is $130. If you cancel with less than 24 hours advance notice, my policy is to charge a late cancellation fee of $75. A late cancellation fee will automatically be charged unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control.

Payments

Deidre LPC, LLC utilizes Ivy Pay which is a secure, HIPPA-compliant payment platform designed specifically for therapists to process client payments.

Ivy Pay accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Debit Cards
  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) Cards
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Cards

In addition to Ivy Pay, we also accept cash and checks for in-person sessions. If paying by check, please make it payable to Deidre LPC, LLC.

Insurance Assistance

With your permission, my billing service and I will assist you to the extent possible in filing claims and ascertaining information about your coverage, but you are responsible for knowing your coverage and for letting me know if/when your coverage changes. You, not your insurance company, are responsible for full payment of fees. If you participate with one of the insurance companies I am in network with, please note that only deductible or copayment amounts are due at the time services are provided.
